FIRST AID AND CPR
First aid is the assistance given to any person suffering a serious illness or injury. First aid is generally performed by someone with basic medical training.
The primary goal of first aid is to:
- Preserve life
- Prevent further harm
- Promote recovery
Basic principles, such as knowing the use of adhesive bandage or applying direct pressure on a bleed are often acquired passively through life experiences
Training is generally provided by attending a course, typically leading to certification. Due to regular changes in procedures and protocols, based on updated clinical knowledge and to maintain skill, attendance at regular refresher courses or re-certification is often necessary.
Duration: 8 hours ( Single Day )
Eligibility: Any person who is interested.
